Why we built it
Lightswap is an early-stage startup. We're a small team building a product we want to use ourselves, and the beta is how we figure out what people actually need. Charging during that period feels backwards — you'd be paying for our learning.
So during the launch period, every feature is free. When we introduce paid tiers later, you'll see the price before we ask for a card, and existing beta users will get plenty of notice.
What you won't ever see is us selling your data to make up for it. The Privacy Policy spells out what we keep and what we never touch. The short version: we make money from people choosing to pay us, not from advertisers buying access to your accounts.
